Leadership

The RelianceNet leadership team is made up of a diverse group of people with different backgrounds and expertise. Our differences enable us to be strengths focused and builds on our belief that every person has unique strengths that when leveraged together allow us to continually improve and create an even bigger future for our investors, employees, partners and clients.
We share a common vision and sense of mission that provide the unity of purpose and inspiration that keeps us moving forward.
Pat Cooley – President and CEO
“I’m passionate about helping people envision, develop and achieve fulfilling futures. I start each day doing a positive focus with my family and then at 8:08am every work day with the RelianceNet team. The Positive Focus process is a great example of the simple systems I surround myself with in order to encourage and sustain progress.
My philosophy can be summed up in two words … Onward & Upward!”
Pat co-founded RelianceNet in 1994 and has over 20-years of experience in the IT field focused on helping clients enhance their IT operations. A big believer in always making your future bigger than your past Pat is a lifetime learner and graduate of the EO MIT Birthing of Giants, RH Smith Certificate in Innovation Management and Strategic Coach programs.
Ongoing learning includes active membership in the EO (Entrepreneurs Organization), MIT Gathering of Titans, ChiefAim and Pathway Shapers Forum. Currently serves on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Anne Arundel County and the EO DC board as Learning Chair.
Pat lives in Severna Park, MD and is blessed to have a wonderful wife and 9 incredible children.

Brian Stout – Director of Operations
“Happy and referring clients are what I strive for on a day-to-day basis. Living in a customer’s shoes for 7 years fostered a deep understanding of what client needs are and how to deliver on them. I’m the man you call when you need something done; if you have an IT need, I can bring you from the proposed solution straight through to a final result. Managing projects to successful completion is a part of my job that I find brings novelty and reward to my days.”
Brian has a background that made him the perfect fit to lead our service and operations divisions. Seven years spent administering the DC and Hawaii office networks and IT needs for Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii, coupled with an MBA from the George Washington University School of Business, give him both the service delivery knowhow and business acumen to be a strong asset to the RelianceNet team.

Megan Long – Director of Finance and Administration
“Being a facilitator for our clients, partners, and team members is where I shine at RelianceNet. Using my skills in both finance and administration to help our team and our clients achieve growth and success is something that I take great pride in. Having a dynamic position in our team, and being so integral in the day to day functions at RelianceNet is rewarding!”
Megan has been the linchpin of the RelianceNet team for the past 3 years. She brings 10+ years of experience in helping to sustain and improve customer and team relationships, most recently working for a large homebuilder in the MD/DC/VA area. She obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Mike Sayyad – Director of Sales
“Working to help my customers meet their IT needs – large or small – is something I excel at. My role at RelianceNet involves a great deal of responsiveness and attention to detail. Clients often tell me that they rely on me for my ability to focus on these details. Placing their trust in my ability to provide solutions allows clients to have the peace of mind that their needs are being met and their problems are being solved.”
Mike has a 20 year background in the IT sales industry starting right out of college. He hails from Howard County Maryland and is a graduate of the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith College of Business and Management. In his spare time, Mike takes great pride in both his scratch golf game and his son’s exploits on the football field and the basketball court.
